Hello!

How are you? Here is a small sample of your great writing about refugee issues and your feelings on them from earlier this year.

I have been so busy over the year that only now have I had the time to get to this collection of your writing. I am gathering these samples of your great work for a collection of student writing about refugee issues called Leaving Home, Going Home.

So I'd like you to take a look at your writing, and that of your classmates. Be proud of what you have done - as proud as what I am of what you have done!

Let's start!

Accepting refugees

Refugees lose their confidence because they lost everything when they came to Japan. At first, they can’t talk well because they can’t speak English. We should understand them and welcome the refugees hospitably with kindly heart. Also, it’s important to communicate between the refugee community and the accepting community, the community of the government and the community of the local government. I think that they should discuss and refugees to feel comfortable before the government and citizens accept refugees.

Refugees are not only protected but also contribute to Japan. I think that refugees should be able to work in various places so that they can have confidence from the experience they have worked there. We have to accept them willingly. In the beginning, we teach them, carefully facing each other. If they become accustomed to work and have confidence, it is important for them to take over them work for their juniors. We support them to become independent.

They may have inconvenient in there because refugees come from other countries, so we need to understand it. I think it is a good thing to cooperate that people around the world will be happy, so I agree that Japan will accept refugees.

Refugees and Japan

I think Japan should actively accept refugees and provide them with supports for their good living.

When refugees come to a new country, they don’t know how to live there. They have lost many things. For example, a connection with their country, social status, economic things and legal things. So they need a lot of supports, when they start living in a new country. Japan has to further improve support systems of refugees to support their living, and by cooperating not only with a country but also local governments their lives will be even better.

If Japan’s government decided to improve reception systems of refugees and support systems of their lives, a lot of refugees come to Japan. I think that it is good for refugees to come to Japan in the future. If a lot of refugees came to Japan, they can make use of their ideas and make Japan more comfortable for refugees.

There are many refugees all over the world. I want refugees all over the world to de happy. So Japan should actively accept them and improve support systems of them.

Refugees problem

I write about refugees. There are many refugees in the world and some refugees come to Japan, so I will talk about how Japan accepts refugees. I would like to write the information I got from them from the video that thinks of accepting Japanese refugees.

First, the woman was talking about Australia. Australia is a state government from the central government as a state of accepting refugees, and I think that it is a good thing to understand refugees among the government, report and share information with each other. In addition, activities of RCCJ are expected to become a better relationship between the government and refugees.

Japan has hints from symposium on accepting refugees. It is to do refugees independence based on refugees experiences and to play the role that Japan supports refugees, and it is to make refugees an environment that can support refugees. I think it is necessary for Japan in the future, and Professor Moriya of Hokkaido University says what we can do in Japan now. It is based on acceptance of immigrants considering diversity of refugee acceptance, it is to diversity acceptance of overseas and domestic refugees and other refugees. It is activities include accepting refugees and enriching the area at the same time, and will support refugees in the area. It is done in three stages of government, municipality and NGO.

Daniel Alkhal says that the view point of Japanese refugee protection system is required. There are three different stages. The first time is when we need very support when we can came to Japan. Economical and legal support is needed at that time. The second time is when refugees began to become independent in host countries. Support is necessary for that time in various scenes. The third time is when the fixed period has passed since setting. At that time support will be reduct, but help with social life is necessary.

The acceptance of refugees

There are many refugees in the world. Recently, refugees is increasing. Refugees have increased since the First World War. There are nearly 70 million people now. There are many refugee’s problems, for example politics system, history, people and religion conflict, North-South problem, and poverty problem. What is the acceptance of refugees?

Turkey is the country where the most refugees escape in the world. Many countries that accept refugees are neighboring countries of refugee-born countries. The acceptance of refugee’s merit is national reliability, precious labor force and new business. The acceptance of refugee’s demerit is tax, religion, a lifestyle, crime and terrorism, and fake refugees. The most countries of refugees are Syria. Syria has increased refugees due to the civil war. To get out of refugees is return, evacuees settlement and third country settlement. What is the acceptance situation of refugees in Japan?

In Japan, the acceptance of refugees is very strict. Currently, only three people are accepted. I doubt that Japan doesn’t accept because there are many refugees, but I think government should suggest saving people. Japan don’t turn your eyes to refugee’s problems because of domestic problems When an earthquake occurred, Japan was helped by the world. Because I think Japan should be useful for the world.

I think that the problem of accepting refugees will not solve unless the world cooperates. I wanted to cooperate so that refugees would be reduced even a little.

Cause of the refugee issue

In late year refugee issue develops into a diplomatic problem. Refugees are the people who came to have to leave the original place of residence in a disaster or a dispute. People in accord with damage of Great East Japan Earthquake emigrate recently in Japan. The refugees who live in Japan accepted by treaty refugees, Indo-Chinese refugees, third nation domiciliation. Treaty refugees have three requirements. The first, they must belong to religion, nationality or the specific social group. They must also be outside nationality country. They must cannot be under the protection of the nationality country. What is “Indo-Chinese refugees”? It is the name which named Vietnam, Laos, Cambodian people generally. Third nation domiciliation is let people living a temporary life in a refugee camp emigrate to other countries.

Why must many people emigrate? It is caused by a conflict or persecution. Conflict is kill children and kidnap them, and it uses children as a soldier. Conflict is terrible. Most of conflicts happen in the African Continent, because it is affected by independence and Cold War. Most that damage has of conflict are children. Many children suffer from a serious disease under the influence of malnutrition. In addition, the girls may receive sexual violence. When a conflict is prolonged, children grow up without education being received. The conflict becomes the global problem.

In my opinion, Japan should concentrate more power on refugee issue. For example, Japan secures a big site for refugees and increase places of residence, and I think that they provide people suffering from poverty with supplies such as the food to be important. I wish people suffering from refugee issue even a little to decrease.

These are great pieces of writing from you! Now what do you think of them? How do you reflect on the topic and what you and your classmates wrote? Post a comment in the comments section on what you think!
