White Rooms and Secret Stories (Part 3)

Hello to all of you!

How are you? Today, for our final meeting, I'd like to show you some more samples of writing for our collection of great student stories of unusual, strange, interesting or funny stories.

I call this collection White Rooms and Secret Stories. You will see on the title of the blogpost that I also call it Part 3. That's because I did a Part 1 and Part 2 last year, with my writing students then. Now, I'm doing this with you this year!

Here's the first story:

I had a strange dream one night. I saw a white tiger and it said me ‘If you trip to California, you can get wonderful experience.’ I woke up and thought. I didn’t know why, I wanted to go to California by white tiger’s word. I made sure that how much did I have money. I had money enough and decided to trip to California.

Early in the morning, I left Japan for California by plane. It took about 10 hours. I arrived at there in the evening. I saw setting sun and I went to the hotel. Before I went to the hotel, I saw a beautiful woman. She lives in California and she acted as my guide. I went home for the present. I closed thick curtains and went to bed.

I got up at 5 a.m. Outside is still dark. I went to the restroom after I gave a big yawn, but I saw a strange silhouette. It was nearly paralyzed with terror. The door opened, then I shouted. I opened my eyes. There is a beautiful woman and she was laughing. She wants to go to see sun rise with me. I felt relieved. I went many place with her. We made friends.

Two years later, we fell in love and we got married. Then I remembered a white tiger. I was convinced that tiger’s word is this wonderful experience. Thanks to white tiger. And thanks a great wonderful dream for me.

Incredible! Now how about this one:

When the woman woke up, she was in white. She couldn’t understand what happened to her. She sat up slowly and looked around her around. She was in the empty small room.  Only there was a white door on the wall. ‘Where am I now?’ she thought. She began to search her mind for memories.

The woman’s name is Kate. She married her boyfriend Edward last weekend. Edward was promoted to her husband. They were very happy. Then they would go to Hawaii on a honeymoon. Few weeks later, they got into the airplane with smiles on their faces.

‘Yes, I remembered. We were in the airplane.’ she breathed deeply. ‘Why am I here?’ At that time, a gray curtain appeared in front of her. It swung in the wind. It looked like it guided her beyond the curtain. She walked to the curtain and ducked under it. There was a big white tiger! He was so powerful but strangely enough Kate didn’t afraid of him. ‘Where are we? Who are you?’ Kate asked him. The tiger didn’t answer. He walked to her slowly and kissed her hair. Then, she blacked out.

She woke up. ‘Kate!’ Edward called her. ‘Kate, we arrived!’ She was sitting on the seat of the airplane. Edward was sitting next to her. They arrived in Hawaii. She replied to him and looked out of the window. She could see a beautiful sunset. ‘Was it a dream?’ she thought. ‘It was a very strange dream. But I’m so happy now! Thanks for your kindness, great tiger.’ She smiled happily, and got off the airplane after her husband.

Now that's a story! Now take a look at this one:

In the evening, you were at the station. You were very tired and wanted to go home soon. After you got home, you went to bed soon because you couldn’t sleep well last night.

In your dream, you opened a white door in front of you. When you opened it, strangers were holding a wedding. Everyone looked happy. Suddenly, they looked at you. You run away there. Then, they followed you. You were afraid of them. You hid behind curtain in a big building before they found you. If you were found by them, you expected that you couldn’t come back home. So, you didn’t want to be found by them. Fortunately, they couldn’t find you.

When you woke up, it was dark. You thought it was strange dream. However, it happened more strange things. In the next morning, you watched drama. It is same story which dreamed last night. It was very fantastic thing.

Short but powerful! How about this next one? 

Vivid scenery only appears before the morning sun rises high. After that, the world steadily filled with solid black and white. You would see the state that the tinge of red vanishing quickly from the sky. The colors exist in the world are only black and white. You can see a black airplane going through dark sky. I know you would be panicked, but to recover your temper is important thing.

You can see the world filled with black and white. When you see a tiger, you must notice that the tiger lives in this world is not yellow and black but white and black. Or as you go to a wedding reception, you would meet a couple in black and white clothes. You cannot escape from the room filled with only black and white. Do you think why this world is filled with black and white? I can tell you the reason. Sorrow in the mind of livings in this world makes them white and black. Now you can see yourself reflected in the mirror. You see? You are in a black and white shirt.

Very vivid! Now how about this:

Sarah and Tom live in New York. They came to Tokyo to hold their wedding ceremony. They came by plane. It took 8 hours from New York to Tokyo. They were so tired. They stayed at an expensive hotel in Shinjuku that was so clean. They could see the beautiful sunset from their room, and They thought it was suitable for the day before their wedding ceremony. They were satisfied with the sunset and went to bed early because they were so tired from their long trip.

In the middle of that night, they heard a strange noise. They woke up and looked around. Sarah found a curtain that appeared during they are sleeping. She opened it then there was a white door. They were surprised and opened it. When they did, there was a tiger that was roared. They were scared and closed the door quickly. A few minutes later, it became quiet, so they opened the door again. There wasn’t the tiger. The place changed to bathroom. They were relieved because the tiger disappeared. But then, they saw a shadow of women who they don’t know. They were so flustered and closed the door strong. They couldn’t sleep that night. And morning came.

That day was their wedding ceremony day. Last night’s happening was so fearful and they had never experienced such a happening. But they had spent special time in the wedding ceremony.        

Wow! Now how about that!
